Job summary

Canteen North America in Beaumont, TX is hiring for a full-time Route Driver - Micromarket. The role delivers products, maintains micro market equipment, and builds strong client relationships. The position commonly requires a valid driver’s license, lifting up to 50 lbs, and independent route management.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license (unless otherwise indicated by state).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently, responsible for route, work unsupervised 98% of the work day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display a clear understanding of company policies and ability to administer as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and other related equipment.
• Reports defective equipment to designated maintenance/repair service operators or technician dispatcher.
• Prepares daily route by loading truck with all product required to service scheduled markets.
• Informs regular clients of new products or services and resolves service complaints.
• Sets up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issues sales promotion materials.
• Accounts for all receipts of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash, and product.
• Performs inventory reconciliation and keeps vehicle clean; conducts pre/post trip inspections.
