Job summary

Canteen is hiring for a Route Driver - Micromarket (Relief Driver) at our Carrollton, TX location. This full-time role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and a guaranteed minimum of $800 per week, with commission-based earnings after training and potential referrals bonus.

The Route Driver delivers products on an established route using a company vehicle, maintains micro market equipment, and builds strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Preferred 1-2 years’ customer service experience or 1 year related experience.
• Must have a Valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. consistently.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.).
• Able to work independently and manage route unsupervised 98% of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for micro market.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in all aspects of job performance.
• Display understanding of company policies and administer as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning and sanitation of micro market and related equipment.
• Conducts minor service and adjustments on markets and reports defects as needed.
• Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and proper loading of products.
• Keep clients informed about new products or services and resolve complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotions and distribute promotional materials.
