Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking an inpatient RN to manage individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care through the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and document care while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed to practice nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS may be required depending on department.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan individualized patient care using the nursing process.
• Document all patient care per department policy and care standards.
• Administer medications and perform medication reconciliation per SSH policy.
• Coordinate discharge/transfer planning and involve patient/family in care decisions.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
