Role Description

The Full Time Retail Supervisor at PUMA Group is an on-site role based in Chicago, IL, responsible for leading day-to-day store operations and supporting overall sales performance. This role oversees sales associates on the floor, provides guidance and coaching, and ensures consistent delivery of premium customer service aligned with PUMA’s brand standards. The Retail Supervisor supports merchandising, stock management, and product presentation to maintain an engaging and organized store environment. Daily responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, assisting with opening and closing procedures, handling escalated customer issues, and promoting product knowledge across the team. The role also contributes to a positive, inclusive workplace by reinforcing company policies, health and safety standards, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Supervisory skills and team leadership experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Retail operations knowledge, including cash handling, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
• Strong product knowledge in footwear, apparel, and accessories, with the ability to educate and motivate the team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with team members and engage customers effectively.
• Proven customer service skills, with a focus on creating a welcoming, solution-oriented in-store experience.
• Ability to work full time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in sports, fashion, or lifestyle retail is preferred.
