Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate in Louisville to help keep shelves stocked, assist customers, and operate the checkout. You will work with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional service and maintain store standards.

This full-time role has an average of 30+ hours per week with a starting wage of $18.50 per hour and scheduled increases over time. Candidates should be reliable, able to lift up to 45 pounds, and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prompt and courteous customer service required.
• Operate POS and store equipment safely.
• Adhere to ALDI policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Perform basic arithmetic accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers.
• Inform management of loss due to damaged/outdated products.
• Use POS to scan and process purchases; report issues.
• Follow cash-handling policies and maintain accuracy.
• Open additional check lanes to improve checkout efficiency.
• Stock shelves per merchandising plan.
• Complete curbside orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas.
• Support management to improve efficiency and reduce losses.
• Identify hazards and uphold safe working environment.
