Job summary

ALDI in Homewood, AL is seeking a Store Associate to merchandize, stock, cashier, and keep the store clean. This full-time role averages 30+ hours weekly with starting pay of $18.00 per hour and progressive raises over five years.

Responsibilities include executing loss-prevention measures, operating the POS system, and assisting store management to meet efficiency and service standards. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment including cash registers and pallet jacks.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising and stocking to planograms.
• Cashier duties and processing customer purchases using POS system.
• Maintain store cleanliness and curbside pickup accuracy.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss-prevention goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report hazards.
