Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a store associate to support merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and cleaning. This full-time role (~30+ hours/week) starts at $20.00 per hour with annual increases over five years.

You’ll work with the team to provide exceptional customer service and maintain store standards through efficient checkout and merchandising tasks. Responsibilities include operating the POS, stocking shelves, processing curbside orders, and helping manage store loss and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition/subtraction).
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Models and follows customer service principles and escalates concerns.
• Inform management of loss due to damaged or outdated products.
• Accurately scan and process purchases using POS system.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Maintain efficient checkout by opening additional lanes as needed.
• Stock shelves and displays per merchandising planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards.
• Support management in achieving efficiency and loss reduction goals.
• Comply with company policies and ensure a safe work environment.
