Job summary

TJ Maxx in Omaha, NE is seeking a team member to deliver a highly satisfactory customer experience, maintain a clean sales floor, and support store operations. You may work in multiple areas to help meet business needs.

This role requires strong customer service, flexibility, good communication and organizational skills, multitasking ability, and physical capability to lift heavy objects. Prior retail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with customers.
• Supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains merchandising standards and procedures.
• Prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures.
• Participates in store recovery and maintains store cleanliness.
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Supports shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
