Job summary

MOKA is seeking a Residential Support Staff member for the 2nd shift, full-time at 32 hours per week. Staff care for individuals with disabilities in a residential setting, supporting daily activities and community participation.

Essential duties include advocating for residents, observing changes in health, providing basic first aid, safe transportation, and assisting with meals and housekeeping while maintaining privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have valid MI driver's license.
• Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for those served at personal, family, and community levels.
• Observes and documents changes in physical and mental condition of those served.
• Administers first aid and simple nursing procedures as needed.
• Transports individuals to community locations using agency vehicle.
• Assists in meal preparation, cleaning, and light maintenance.
• Provides hospitality to visitors and facilitates community participation.
