Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to document statistics and prepare correspondence.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals served at personal, family and community levels.
• Observe and document changes in condition.
• Administer first aid and simple nursing procedures as needed.
• Ensure privacy and dignity and report abuse or neglect.
• Transport individuals to community locations as needed.
• Document progress and administer programs as prescribed.
• Assist in meal prep, cleaning, small repairs and maintenance.
• Provide hospitality to visitors.
• Explore community participation possibilities for those served.
• Respond to health risks and report hazards through the agency hierarchy.
