Stevens Treatment Programs in Swansea, MA is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare three nutritious, well-balanced meals daily for youth and staff, follow menus, and ensure kitchen safety and organization. You will be part of a dedicated Food Services team, support during staffing absences and emergencies, and contribute to a respectful, professional environment for youth in residential treatment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to become certified in Food Safety and Allergen Awareness.
• Experience in institutional or commercial food service preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety and sanitary standards.
• Background check and reference from a recent supervisor required.
• Valid, current driver’s license for 3+ years and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare three nutritious, well-balanced meals daily for youth and staff.
• Follow established menus, recipes, and dietary instructions.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of kitchen, food storage and cottage kitchen areas.
• Participate in kitchen inventory, food deliveries, and quality control.
• Contribute to departmental planning, food services meetings, and events.
• Provide support during staffing absences, weather emergencies, and holidays.
