Job summary

Action Behavior Centers is hiring a Behavior Technician who will work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy in our Lubbock clinic. The role follows individualized treatment plans and collects session data to drive progress.

You will stay active during sessions, help kids learn through play, and maintain a safe, organized environment while collaborating with a supportive team to promote growth and success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor.
• Maintain an active pace while working with young children.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Team-oriented with ability to support nearby ABC clinic if needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children ages 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team to help kids grow and succeed.
