Emerald Healthcare in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Rehab team. The PTA will work closely with physical therapists and nursing staff to provide high-quality rehabilitation services to residents.

The ideal candidate will be committed to improving mobility and overall quality of life through personalized care, education, and hands-on therapy in a clinical facility.

Formación

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physical therapists in implementing and modifying treatment plans.
• Collect and document patient data, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about exercises, equipment, and home programs.
• Set up and maintain therapeutic equipment and assist devices.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other clinicians in care planning.
• Adhere to facility policies and ensure a safe therapy environment.
