Emerald Care Center Southwest is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team in Oklahoma City, OK. The PTA will collaborate with physical therapists and nursing staff to deliver quality rehabilitation services to residents, focusing on mobility, strength, and functional independence.

This PRN (as-needed) position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to contribute to individualized care plans while supporting the daily operations of our skilled nursing

Qualifikationen

• Must have an Associate's degree in PTA and an active Oklahoma PTA license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required.

Aufgaben

• Assist physical therapists in implementing and adjusting treatment plans.
• Document patient progress, outcomes, and responses to therapy.
• Educate patients and families about exercises, equipment use, and home programs.
• Set up and maintain therapy equipment and assist devices used in therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with physical therapists, nurses, and other staff to develop individualized care plans.
• Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
