Job summary

Autumn Lake at Berkeley Heights in Berkeley Heights, NJ is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time position in a skilled nursing setting. You will partner with Physical Therapists and our interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized rehab services.

You will provide hands-on therapy, work on mobility, balance, gait, and functional activities, monitor progress, document accurately, and contribute to a collaborative care approach.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ PTA license required.
• Strong communication and resident-care skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with therapists and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on therapy according to treatment plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Work with residents on mobility, strengthening, balance, gait, transfers, and functional activities.
• Encourage residents toward individualized rehabilitation goals.
• Monitor treatment response and share updates with the supervising PT.
