Autumn Lake at Southgate in Carneys Point, NJ is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its rehabilitation team. This full-time role offers hands-on therapy to help residents improve mobility, balance, and daily function under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Qualified candidates hold an NJ PTA license, graduate from an accredited PTA program, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with strengthening, balance, gait training, transfers, endurance, and mobility.
• Follow individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the therapy team.
• Reinforce exercises and safe mobility techniques with residents and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and other interdisciplinary team members.
