Job summary

Ultimate Therapy Services in Ocean View, NJ is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing and post-acute setting. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with experienced clinicians to help residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.

You will provide treatments under a licensed PT, collaborate with nurses and therapists, and contribute to individualized plans, progress notes, and caregiver education.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and functional mobility.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident goals.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other care team members.
