Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Autumn Lake at Memorial Bridge in Carneys Point, NJ. You will deliver PTAs under supervision, guide residents through mobility activities, and help meet individualized rehabilitation goals.

The role offers a full-time schedule with hourly pay of $34–$38 and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, holidays, CE support, and a collaborative environment to grow clinical skills.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey PTA license required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative therapy team.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities.
• Follow established treatment plans and support individualized rehabilitation goals.
• Observe resident progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe movement techniques.
• Maintain clear and timely treatment documentation.
• Work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident progress.
