Job summary

Sunset Ridge Health & Rehab in Bloomsburg, PA is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You’ll provide skilled PT care under a licensed PT, documenting progress with Net Health and collaborating across disciplines to enhance residents’ independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, resident-centered care and professional growth in a SNF/LTC setting within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license or eligibility.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, positive, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence.
• Follow plans of care and communicate progress with supervising PT.
• Accurately document treatments using Net Health.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab team.
• Educate and encourage residents throughout rehabilitation.
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, federal, and professional standards.
