Job summary

Sunnyview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled therapy under the direction of a Physical Therapist and contribute to individualized resident care plans.

The PTA will deliver prescribed treatments, assist with mobility, track progress, and document services while collaborating with rehabilitation and nursing teams to support residents’ mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license or eligibility to practice in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and resident-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments and functional interventions.
• Assist residents with mobility, exercise, balance, transfers, and ambulation.
• Track resident progress and report relevant findings to the supervising therapist.
• Document treatment services in a complete and timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation and nursing teams.
