Job summary

Sunnyview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Butler Township, PA, is seeking a Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help residents move safely and live more independently under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

You will deliver prescribed treatments, assist with mobility and transfers, document progress, and collaborate with the rehab and nursing teams to support individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license or eligibility to practice in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in a rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and resident-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prescribed physical therapy treatments and functional interventions.
• Assist residents with mobility, exercise, balance, transfers, and ambulation.
• Track resident progress and report relevant findings to the supervising therapist.
• Document treatment services in a complete and timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation and nursing teams.
