Job summary

Pleasant Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents through personalized rehabilitation services.

Under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will implement therapy plans, guide residents through exercises, monitor responses, and maintain timely clinical documentation to promote mobility, safety, and independence.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license or eligibility to practice in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy plans and interventions established by the Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through therapeutic exercise and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor treatment response and communicate updates to the care team.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote a positive, respectful resident experience.
