This is a full-time position. The primary responsibility is to take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding their expectations. This requires product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, customer relations skills, and cooperation with fellow associates to create an incredible place to work and shop. Responsibilities include processing, packaging, and stocking produce according to standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. The role may also involve performing duties of a floral clerk when assigned.

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations with English-speaking customers, vendors, and associates.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using American money and weight measurements.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
Completion of company training including orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge.
Requires standing, walking, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Must regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, and depth perception.
Work occurs in a cool environment (55-60°F), often wet/humid, with moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and cold. Noise levels are moderate to loud.
