Job summary

Eurest USA in Mountain View, CA, located at Compass @ Microsoft, is hiring a full-time Prep Cook. You will prepare food to recipes, serve customers, and follow HACCP and sanitation standards. Compensation is a fixed pay rate of $28.25 per hour with training available for catering experience.

You will work with the kitchen team to follow daily schedules, operate equipment, and maintain quality throughout service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Catering experience is preferred; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Obtains daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepares items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes.
• Completes production worksheets and waste log sheets; tastes meals to ensure quality.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use.
• Stores, labels and dates all food items according to policy; follows HACCP.
• Completes required documentation and logs as required.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations.
• Takes orders from customers and prepares items with short prep times.
• Serves customers efficiently at multiple stations.
• Uses recipes to ensure proper portion control and serving temperatures.
