Job summary

FLIK Independent School Dining in Weston, MA is hiring a full-time Prep Cook at The Rivers School. You will prepare food, follow recipes, and serve students and staff with attention to safety and quality.

Duties include receiving daily production orders, using established quantities, HACCP compliance, cleaning equipment, and completing required logs. Previous culinary experience is preferred; free meals and uniforms are provided.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets following quantities and recipes.
• Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets; taste meals for quality.
• Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after use.
• Store, label and date all food items; follow HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation, logs and reports as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Take orders and prepare items requiring short preparation time.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
