Job summary

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Autumn Lake at Ocean View in Ocean View, NJ. This full-time position offers an hourly rate of $34-$38 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide treatments under a licensed PT, help residents improve mobility and independence, document care, and collaborate with nurses, OT, and SLP to support recovery.

Qualifications

• Active NJ Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing/rehabilitation preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA treatments under a licensed PT.
• Improve residents' strength, balance, gait, endurance, and mobility.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.

Ultimate Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians while helping residents improve mobility, strength, and independence in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Help residents improve strength, balance, gait, endurance, and functional mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans based on resident goals
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team
