Endeavor Health is seeking a dedicated phlebotomist to perform routine and special phlebotomy procedures across multiple hospital sites and to collect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and patient population considerations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR-BLS certification for Healthcare Providers, and preferred ASCP/PBT certification. Travel between sites is required; strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• CPR-BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required from the AHA; PBT (ASCP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by supervisor/manager/director.
• Order tests into laboratory and hospital computer systems and document lab receipt of specimens.
• Collect patient specimens according to test requirements for the appropriate patient population.
• Collect blood samples for specific tests ensuring correct volumes and tubes are used.
