Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification through a nationally recognized organization or CMA/PHB experience.
• Experience with venipuncture and lab specimen handling.
• Familiar with EMR systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and lab specimen collection per policies.
• Enter orders and verify test results in systems.
• Communicate with patients using the AIDET model.
• Maintain specimen labeling, processing, and transport.
• Ensure safety, waste handling, and compliance.
