IVI RMA North America is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist in Basking Ridge, NJ. The role requires drawing blood, labeling specimens, and preparing samples for testing, with weekend availability from early morning. Must maintain patient comfort and report to clinical staff for a positive patient experience.

Ideal candidates will have a Phlebotomy program (preferred, CA/WA/TX specific) and 3+ years' venipuncture experience in a lab or hospital. Proficiency in EMR and Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital setting (required).
• Weekend, holiday, and occasional evening shifts required.

Responsibilities

• Draws blood from patients for laboratory procedures.
• Labeling and processing specimens; ensure specimen integrity and transport.
• Prepare phlebotomy area; maintain OSHA/ DEP compliance; reassure patients.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

IVI RMA North America has a need for a Part-Time Phlebotomist for our Basking Ridge location. We are looking for someone that can work every other weekend from 5:30am-11:30am.

This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Properly identifies patients.
• Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
• Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
• To store and transport specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
• Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
• Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
• Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.

Academic Training:

• Completion of a Phlebotomy Program– highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
• Studies level: Certification
• Studies area: Phlebotomy Program

Position Requirements/Experience:

• 3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required
