Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Active registration with State Board of Pharmacy or willingness to obtain by start date.
• CPhT certification required within six months of hire.
• Pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
• Must be detail-oriented and patient-focused.
• Ability to work under supervision of licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient and medication information into EPIC.
• Prepare medications for pharmacist review and dispensing.
• Count, package, and label medications accurately.
• Assist with sterile compounding preparation and training as applicable.
• Maintain medication inventory and security.
• Deliver medications to patients and nursing units after pharmacist verification.
• Support onboarding and training of new coworkers.
• Participate in department meetings and trainings.
