Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: CPhT certification within six months of hire or as required.
• Experience: Pharmacy setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient and medication information into EPIC.
• Prepare medications for pharmacist review and dispensing.
• Retrieve, count, package, and label medications accurately.
• Assist with sterile compounding preparation and training as applicable.
• Fill medication orders and prescriptions in a timely manner.
• Receive, stock, and maintain medication inventory.
• Ensure medication security and proper storage.
• Deliver medications to patients and nursing units after pharmacist verification.
