Mercy Springfield is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Technician I to join our Pharmacy team. You will work with pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication services for patients.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, customer service, and the ability to follow state and federal regulations while assisting with dispensing, inventory, and daily operations. Mercy supports professional growth and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPhT certification required within six months of hire.
• Willingness to obtain board registration and background check.

Responsabilidades

• Enter patient and medication data into EPIC.
• Prepare medications for pharmacist review and dispensing.
• Count, package, and label medications accurately.
• Assist with sterile compounding training as applicable.
• Fill medication orders and prescriptions promptly.
• Receive, stock, and maintain medication inventory.
• Ensure medication security and proper storage.
• Deliver medications to patients and nursing units after verification.
• Process returns and credits as appropriate.
• Conduct follow-up calls with patients as needed.
• Follow hazardous waste, safety, and quality procedures.
• Monitor outdated medications and maintain equipment/cleanliness.
• Prioritize tasks based on patient and operational needs.
• Participate in meetings, huddles, and training; assist onboarding.
