Nicklaus Children’s Hospital seeks a Room Service Associate to support patient tray line operations, deliver meals within 60 minutes, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness in the patient tray line area.

Responsibilities include greeting patients and families, verifying patient identity, assembling trays per diet orders, and following FIFO and sanitation standards. Flexibility for days and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Active SafeStaff Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience with food service highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety preferred.
• Ability to communicate sufficiently well in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers in a warm and professional manner and provide service recovery when needed.
• Verify patient identity using meal tray ticket to ensure correct delivery.
• Assemble trays per service ticket, portions, and diet orders; deliver within 60 minutes.
• Prepare diabetic and eating disorder meals as prescribed by dietitians.
• Stock and rotate food/paper supplies; maintain FIFO and sanitation standards.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and report safety issues immediately.
