Job summary

Nicklaus Children's is hiring a Room Service Associate (Full Time, Days) to support patient meal tray delivery and tray line operations. You will assemble and deliver trays, verify patient identities, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

You will work in a fast-paced hospital kitchen, ensuring timely service, adherence to dietary orders, and collaboration with dietitians and nursing staff. English proficiency is required; some Spanish helpful. Weekend/holiday shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Active SafeStaff Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families with warm, professional service.
• Verify patient identity and ensure trays reach the correct patient.
• Assemble trays per service ticket, portions, and diet restrictions.
• Deliver trays within 60 minutes to nursing units and designated areas.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of tray line and workstations.
• Follow FIFO stocking, rotation, and storage of supplies.
• Report customer complaints and safety concerns to leadership.
