Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a patient tray line associate in Food & Nutrition Services. You will ensure accurate and timely delivery of patient meal trays, stock supplies, and maintain a clean patient tray line work area.

Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, assembling trays per diet orders, and adhering to safety protocols across shifts. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior food service experience, and the ability to communicate in English;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active SafeStaff Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Prior experience with food service highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide service with a customer-first attitude.
• Verify patient identity using tray ticket to ensure correct delivery.
• Assemble trays per service ticket and diet orders; deliver within 60 minutes.
• Prepare diabetic and dietary meals as prescribed by dietitians.
• Follow FIFO and maintain sanitation standards for safety.
