Qualifications

• Active SafeStaff Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in food service preferred; knowledge of food safety is helpful.
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to request supplies and label food items.
• Spanish language knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Verify patient identity using tray tickets to ensure correct delivery.
• Assemble and deliver trays according to service tickets, diet orders, and restrictions.
• Prepare diabetic and other prescribed meals as directed by dietitians.
• Maintain FIFO and keep the tray line and work areas clean and organized.
