Two years of customer service experience are required. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $15.00 per hour and requires English literacy, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends are possible.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous customer service experience required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, cultural/religious preferences, or additional selections.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines, HIPAA policies, and infection control procedures.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on specific diets.
• Communicate problems or concerns to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
