Morrison Healthcare is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, MS. The role focuses on patient menu assistance, tray assembly, and timely delivery within a hospital setting.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available with a shift from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with weekends required. A hospital food-service background is preferred, and the fixed rate is $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for nutritional needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team on menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays on schedule; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow HIPAA, confidentiality, and patient rights policies.
• Follow HACCP and sanitation guidelines.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets.
• Communicate problems or concerns in a timely manner to appropriate staff.
• Prepare and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
