Common Bond Cafe in Bellaire, TX is hiring a Packing Assistant to assemble packaging for pastries, cookies, cakes, breads, and special orders, working with the Pastry Supervisor. You’ll help package production and shipments while maintaining stock levels and cleanliness in the pastry and bakery area.

The role requires standing up to 10 hours per shift, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and presenting a professional restaurant image.

Qualifications

• Food handler certification required by health code regulations.
• Able to stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble packaging for pastries, cookies, cakes and breads.
• Package production and shipments and manage par levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pastry area.
• Identify priority items for the day and inform management of needs.
• Assist with other positions as assigned by supervisor/manager.
