Job summary

Jovie is seeking part-time, on-call childcare providers to support families with in-home care. This role emphasizes flexibility to fit around school, family, or other commitments, and is open to babysitters, daycare workers, or teaching professionals seeking a small environment.

You will work with multiple families on an as-needed basis, with the option of paid training and a nanny kit to support activities and learning play for children.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area.
• Available on 3 or more weekdays for 6–8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children.
• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child.
• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers.
• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on age-appropriate development.

As a Back-up Nanny, You Will

• Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children


• No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child


• Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!


• Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development

We Provide

• Pay: $20 per hour - $22.25 per hour per hour


• Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments
