Job summary

Building Connections Academy in Martinez, CA is seeking a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional to provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support in a classroom setting. You will implement individualized programs, collect progress data, and help students develop communication and social skills with BCBA supervision.

Hours are in-person, Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM. Starting pay ranges from $22 to $28 per hour and includes paid training for RBT certification if needed.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
• RBT certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in related field preferred).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Immunizations including MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hep B, TB clearance within 4 years.

About the Role

• Hours: In-person, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:30 PM.
