Job summary

Building Connections Academy is seeking a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional in Martinez, CA to provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support for students with autism and developmental differences. The role is in-person, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, with a pay range of $22–$28 per hour based on experience and certification.

You will implement individualized programs, collect progress data, and help students develop communication and life skills while fostering a safe learning

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
• RBT certification (or willing to obtain within 90 days).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in related field preferred).
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Required immunizations including MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hep B, and TB clearance within 4 years.

About the Role:

• Hours: In-person, Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 3:00PM.
• Pay: $22-$28/HR (based on experience, certification, and education).
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) required or willingness to become certified within 90 days (paid training included!).

As a School-Based Special Education Paraprofessional, you’ll provide 1:1 behavioral and academic support to students with autism and other developmental differences.
