Valley Care Solution Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time, on-site position in our South River, New Jersey outpatient office. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, valid state licensure, and BLS; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans.
• Implement and document treatment methods to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address a range of conditions aligning with the medical plan.
• Deliver specialized care across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine.
• Provide education and ongoing consultation to patients and caregivers about rehabilitation and home exercises.
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout patient interactions and experiences.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to maximize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups and conditions. Your patients may range from children needing rehabilitative support for sports injuries to adults overcoming orthopedic surgeries and neurological challenges. This variety not only enriches your professional experience but also requires a deep understanding of different therapeutic techniques tailored to each specific set of needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by APTA or CAPTE.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in a diverse therapeutic setting.
• Current CPR Certification to ensure the safety and care of patients.
