Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Valley Care Solution Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs.
• Executing evidence-based treatment interventions that commonly include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education in accordance with the prescribed plan of care.
• Maintaining detailed documentation using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with both legal and best practice standards.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers and specialists to enhance patient care and support all facets of recovery.
• Demonstrating superior customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and their families.
• Regularly reassessing patient progress and adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Educating patients and caregivers regarding their conditions and providing strategies for home-based care and lifestyle modifications.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will treat a diverse range of patient populations within our outpatient clinic, with specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A current Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

In addition to the required qualifications, candidates with the following experience will be highly regarded:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
• Previous experience in specialized areas such as pediatrics, geriatrics, or sports rehabilitation.
