Job summary

Valley Care Solution Physical Therapy in Fords, New Jersey, is seeking a dynamic Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide high-quality physical therapy services to our diverse patient population in a busy onsite center.

The ideal candidate holds a PT degree, NJ license, BLS, and 2+ years of experience; DPT preferred. You will collaborate with physicians, educate patients, document in the EHR, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA/CAPTE‑approved program.
• Current NJ physical therapy license.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; proficiency with computers.
• DPT is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with personalized plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients by reviewing their medical history and current physical condition to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement treatment strategies with a focus on rehabilitation practices that enhance mobility and improve patient functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive plan of care, addressing the specific needs of each patient.
• Create a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service and actively engaging with patients and their families.
• Document patient progress and treatment results meticulously, using our electronic health record (EHR) systems to track outcomes and maintain compliance.
• Provide in-home therapeutic services when necessary, applying specialized techniques and procedures consistent with established recovery goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers about exercise regimens, safety protocols, and rehabilitation practices to foster independence and prevent further injury.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals and actively participate in team meetings to enhance the overall effectiveness of care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population at Valley Care Solution encompasses a diverse array of specialties, including but not limited to orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurological recovery, and sports medicine. By treating a broad spectrum of patients, you will gain extensive experience and enhance your skill set in delivering specialized care tailored to individual recovery needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Current state license for physical therapy practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, along with proficiency in computer systems and word processing.
• Passion for building meaningful relationships with patients, facilitating an environment conducive to effective rehabilitation.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and state licensing as a Doctor of Physical Therapist is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating a solid understanding of rehabilitation practices.
• Current CPR certification, showcasing your commitment to patient safety and readiness in emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits
