Job summary

Northwest Eye in Golden Valley, MN seeks a full-time Ophthalmic Tech to perform diagnostic testing and work-up as delegated by the physician, ensuring quality patient care. The role is 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm, with travel to other Northwest Eye locations in the Twin Cities metro.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour. Home base is Golden Valley, with travel to Crosstown, Maple Grove, St. Anthony and Wayzata as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Optometry or ophthalmology experience preferred.
• JCAHPO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document ophthalmic testing and work-up as delegated by the physician.
• Educate patients regarding diagnostic testing and clinic visits.
• Open and close exam rooms; ensure equipment is clean and ready.
• Inform patients of the purpose of tests and their effects.
• All other duties as assigned.
