Job summary

Barker Management, Inc. is seeking an On-Site Maintenance professional to service a 105-unit property. You’ll perform basic repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, and coordinate maintenance work with the rental office to keep units ready and safe for residents.

Working hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with two 15-minute breaks. Prior residential property experience is preferred; we offer full-time employment and equal opportunity to all applicants.

Qualifications

• Basic maintenance skills across trades (electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
• Ability to perform painting and general repairs.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and building codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests within 24 hours when possible.
• Perform interior painting and maintenance repairs to buildings.
• Handle exterior cleaning, trash areas, and grounds upkeep.
• Know how to shut off water and gas meters as needed.
• Assist with move-in and move-out inspections.
• Maintain inventory and submit weekly maintenance logs.
• Maintain exterior upkeep: replace glass, lights, and screens; stucco repairs.
• Prepare vacated units for re-rental with cleaning and repairs.
• Perform monthly unit inspections and supervise laundry rooms cleanliness.
