Job summary

Barker Management Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking an On-Site Maintenance professional to service a 105-unit property. The role requires performing basic repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, and coordinating maintenance work orders with the rental office.

Work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with two 15-minute breaks. The position includes benefits after 90 days, and the chance to contribute to a well-maintained living environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working at a residential property with 20+ units is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Walk grounds twice daily to assess condition of the development.
• Complete service requests within 24 hours where possible.
• Interior painting and maintenance repairs of buildings.
• Exterior cleaning of trash areas, stairwells, grounds, and parking areas.
• Know how to shut off water & gas meters in all apartments and clean sewers.
• Assist with move-in/move-out inspections and inventory maintenance.
• Submit daily maintenance logs to the manager each Friday.
• Maintain exterior upkeep: replace glass, lights, screens, and stucco repairs.
• Prepare vacated units for re-rental: paint, clean appliances and floors.
