Job summary

Milton Hershey School is hiring full-time Flex Houseparents to reside in on-campus student homes and care for a group of 8–13 students. The role requires a legally married couple, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

You will provide supervision, guidance, and support to students in a structured, family-like environment. As part of the team, you will manage daily routines, participate in devotions and Chapel activities, coordinate activities,

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role for married partners.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Coordinate transportation to activities and engage in development and recreation with students.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel participation.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
