The candidate must hold a CA NP license with furnishing number, DEA registration, BLS, and preferred bilingual abilities. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard day shifts in Exeter, CA.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP with CA NP license and furnishing number.
• DEA registration is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• HR must confirm credentialing clearance with KH Medical Staff prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Secures a complete health history and records findings.
• Performs examinations, diagnostic tests, and procedures within scope.
• Provides patient education on medications, disease management, and prevention.
• Follows up on abnormal findings and refers to other providers as appropriate.
• Charts all information in the EMR and ensures timely documentation.
• Collaborates with supervising physician to review complex cases as needed.
• Pursues ongoing continuing medical education and shares updates with APP team.
• Coordinates clinic coverage and provides backup as needed.
• Delivers care in a team-based, patient-centered model.
• If assigned to heart failure or electrophysiology clinics, manages relevant tests and devices per protocol.
